Our recreational basketball program began in 2007 under Athletes for the Cross, and in 2025, it became part of the Push The Rock family as we prepare for the 2025–2026 season. This non-denominational, faith-based program serves children from Pre-K and Kindergarten through 8th grade, combining a love for basketball with a commitment to Biblical principles.

We provide a safe, competitive environment where young athletes can grow on and off the court. Each team is led by a volunteer coach who is a committed Christian with a passion for youth sports and a desire to honor God in every interaction with your family. At Push The Rock, players benefit from devoted coaching, access to training equipment, physical conditioning, possible clinics, open gyms, camps, and most importantly, time dedicated to Biblical devotionals and spiritual growth—all while building lasting friendships.

While our Pre-K/Kindergarten program focuses on skill development and does not include organized games, our 1st–8th grade teams participate in organized games coordinated by Lower Macungie. All games are held at schools throughout the Macungie and Emmaus area. For 1st–2nd grade, coaches also serve as on-court referees, guiding players and teaching as the game unfolds. Starting in 3rd grade, games are officiated by certified referees, giving players the opportunity to compete in a more structured environment as they continue to grow in both skill and sportsmanship.
