Our First Goal: Grow Year-Round Ministry In Zambia & Use Our Facility To Train Others
Goal one is this: Complete our sports ministry complex and training facility in Zambia, where we have ministered through soccer to thousands over the last three years. Hundreds of children attend after school and clinic-based programs every week and we have also have an outreach in a local prison.
Our heart’s desire is to multiply our impact by training others at this facility. The challenges facing Zambia are immense: more than 600,000 orphans in the region as a result of AIDS. Thousands of others in regional villages who have never heard of Christ. We need people who are trained and passionate about carrying Christ’s love. Sports are an excellent bridge to do so.
It will cost $125,000 to build this dormitory, which is so much more than a physical space. It is an investment in leaders who will stay here on a short-term mission trip or who come from other villages in Zambia and neighboring nations in Africa to learn sports ministry and be equipped to evangelize. We feel God’s call to train others , multiplying our impact as we reach others for Christ through sports.
Land is available and plans are drawn. Will you join us to minister to children today and train leaders in Africa for tomorrow? While we sense God’s leading to undergo this work, we also will not build it until the funds are in.
TODAY, WE ARE APPX. 30% FUNDED.
