What is your best Disc Golf Memory?

When I first started playing the sport while living in Colorado, I signed up for random draw doubles event. I got paired up with Jeff Panis who played in the pro division. We didn’t use many of my shots but when we got to the last hole, we needed to sink a putt from about 45 feet to get into a playoff for first. By the grace of God, I drained it. It was awesome!

Why did you want to join Eagles Wings?

I love disc golf but I love the Lord more. So, when I heard of a disc golf ministry that wanted to serve the disc golf community, I knew I had to help in some way.

What is your favorite disc in your bag and why?

My favorite disc in my bag right now would be my classic blend warden putter. It just feels so good in the hand. I am also currently falling back in love with my Discmania MD too.

What is your favorite shot to throw during a round and why?

Probably just a pure hyzer flip drive. I remember when I was first able to flip a disc to flat, it was such a great feeling seeing the full flight of the disc.

What is the next course on your disc golf bucket list?

I would love to play Winthrop Gold someday, but I think I would need a mathematics degree too add up my score.

What other hobbies do you have or what other sports do you participate in?

I love playing ball golf and I’m a huge fan of all sports. As far as hobbies, I have played drums since I was a kid and love to give drum lessons. I also love being a family pastor and teaching parenting classes.
