NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR OUR SEPTEMBER TRIP TO JUNEAU, ALASKA
2025 TRIPS
JUNEAU, ALASKA – SEPTEMBER 7-15
Trip Cost: $1,500
This covers food, housing, local transportation, round trip flights from Seattle, and site seeing group events.
First time raising funds for a mission trip? Once registered and approved, EW staff can offer fundraising coaching and instructions for flight purchase to get to Seattle.
Plans for the Team
The trip has three objectives:
- Design & install a 9-hole course for campers.
- Complete updates & maintenance existing 18-hole course.
- Host a disc golf retreat first PDGA-sanctioned tournament at Echo Ranch Bible Camp.
In conjunction with the PDGA-sanctioned tournament, Echo Ranch will host a retreat weekend with a chapel service. There will be additional disc golf opportunities which coincide for retreat attendees.
About the Ranch
Echo Ranch Bible Camp is the premier summer camp of southeast Alaska. Hundreds of students attend camps each year, making lifelong friendships, finding encouragement & guidance from staff, and experiencing God’s glory in his creation.
Echo Ranch uses activities like disc golf to bridge relationships with campers and counselors opening opportunities for deeper conversations. In addition, they also strive to connect with the local community in order to share the hope found in Christ.
LA PAZ, MEXICO – MAY 3-10
Trip Cost: $1,200
This covers food, housing, in country transportation, and all other trip costs except airfare. A passport is required to travel to Mexico.
First time raising funds for a missions project? Once registered and approved, EW staff can offer fundraising coaching and instructions for flight purchase. (Passport required)
Plans for the Team
Missions teams visiting the ranch will learn how to live a life of service and compassion and will work alongside ranch staff through our already existing programs.
Our team will participate in gospel-centered disc golf activities, growing the interest of disc golf by teaching the sport to the local community.
There will also some sightseeing opportunities and a chance to enjoy the local cuisine.
About the Ranch
Rancho el Camino serves the people of La Paz, Mexico, and around the world through recreational therapy programs and community development initiatives.
We work alongside the local churches and the local government in providing programs for children, teens, and families. The Ranch has a strong missional focus among teens in Mexico and the US.
