Today is the last day to register for the Push The Rock 3 v 3 basketball tournament in partnership with Deep Run East Mennonite Church on Monday, December 30th. There will be separate tournaments for boys in grades 5-6, and grades 7-8. The cost is just $5 per player and the day will include tournament play, giveaways, prizes and a presentation by Dan Ochiogrosso from Ball For Lives. This will be a great day of basketball, and provides a great excuse to get out of the house over Christmas break! For more details, or to register please go to www.deepruneast.org. We hope to see you on the 30th!

The Thuma family has now been in Zambia for just over two months as they begin the work of PTR Zambia. They are adjusting well to their new life and home, and are excited for the potential for the future involvement of PTRZ in the Macha community where they live and where our PTR Zambia now based. They have been busy meeting new friends and developing relationships, adapting to new routines, learning the culture, attempting to learn Tonga, and beginning to explore the countless opportunities for ministry!
We are grateful for their first two months there and are thankful for all those who have been praying. Another item of praise is that PTR Zambia now has it’s very own vehicle! We are thankful for the foundation that granted the funds to make this purchase possible, as it will be a huge asset not just to the Thuma family, but to PTR Zambia as well.
It has been the effort, prayers, and generosity of many that have allowed PTR to expand it’s reach into Zambia. Thank your continued interest in our efforts there and for continuing to pray with us for the work that will be happening in that community and beyond.
