Eagles Wings One Year Bible Challenge

It is the time of year when we gather with family and friends to celebrate the birth of Christ and the beginning of a new year. Often times we spend time reflecting on the previous year and make plans for the next year. In 2018, we are going to challenge all of the friends of Eagles Wings Disc Golf to join us in reading the bible with us every day for a year.

We began our Chapel ministry with the hopes of connecting believers to a body of Christ as they were away from the church building on a Sunday to play disc golf. Chapels have also served as a great way to invite people to consider Jesus as the way, the truth and the life. The challenge to read the bible with us comes out of our deep desire to grow closer to God through the reading of His word.

Will you join us this year? Will you make the commitment to read through the bible in a year? We have found a reading plan that will guide us to read through the bible over the span of a single year. To get more information and to stay connected to others that are making the same commitment as you, please join our Facebook group. And as always, stay connected with Eagles Wings Disc Golf through our website, social media and by participating and helping out at our events.

New Page For Eagles Wings: Tools For The Road

Eagles Wings Disc Golf is excited to announce a new section on our web page called, “Tools For The Road”. This section will be filled with apps for your phone and tablets, podcasts to listen to, blogs to read, and even a place to submit prayer requests. We intend to keep the page updated with new content and new sections on a regular basis.

We have been blessed by the chapel service ministry and the way we’ve been able to walk alongside so many as their faiths continue to grow, even as they are away from their own, local, church bodies. This page is the next step in continuing to help the Christian disc golf community stay close to God, no matter where they are throwing their favorite plastic discs.

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” -Philippians 4:8
