David Walton began his association with Push The Rock in 1998 as the chairman of the board of directors and has been leading the entire organization as president since 2015. He oversees our strategy and vision creating high impact opportunities to use the power of sports to impact the world for Jesus one life at a time. David is passionate about connecting people to our vision, encouraging them to partner with us. He also scouts social enterprise opportunities to help ensure the long-term financial stability of the organization.
David spent 39 years at PPL Corporation in a variety of departments and finished his career as the Vice President of Business Solutions and Operations. David holds a BS in Accounting from the King’s College and an MBA from Lehigh University.
David grew up in the love and care of a Christian family and came to Christ at a young age. However, faith was never his own until multiple basketball injuries made him realize that it was only Jesus who could satisfy the longing in his heart.
David always had a passion for sports and played basketball and ran track in high school and college. He once held the high school single season and single game assist record. He also had a passion for coaching, and his U12 soccer team won the PA state championship.
David and his wife, Julie, reside in Macungie, PA.
