What does is mean to play Club Volleyball?

• Club volleyball is a volleyball program that runs from approximately December 1 through April or May.
• Practice 2 times per week.
• Play in 3-10 tournaments on weekends, depending on the club and level of team (sometimes a Friday or Monday is also required for larger tournaments).
• Your dedication to the team is important and attendance is very important.

How much does it cost?

• Developmental Team – $500
  • (1) 2-hour practice per week, 2 single day tournaments.
  • Season starts January and runs through end of April.
    • No tryouts for this team
    • T-shirt Included

• 12U – $1000-$1200
  • (2) 2-hour practices per week, 3-5 tournaments (to be decided each year based on readiness of the team.
  • Season runs December through April.
  • Uniform not included (Approximate cost $30-$60 depending if we choose to use a Libero or not).

• 13U – $1750*
  • (2) 2-hour practices per week, 5 (1) multi Day tournaments.
  • Season runs mid-December through April.
  • Does not include uniform costs (uniform cost includes 2 jerseys (required) approximate cost $100-$120 shorts are optional).

• 14U – $2300
  • (2) 2-hour practices per week, 9 total tournaments.
  • Does not include uniform costs (uniform cost includes 2 jerseys (required) approximate cost $100-$120 shorts are optional).
  • Season starts early December and runs through early May.

• 15U-17U – $2700*
  • (2) 2-hour practices per week, 9 total tournaments.
  • Season starts early December and runs through early May.
  • Does not include uniform costs  (uniform cost includes 2 jerseys (required) approximate cost $100-$120 shorts are optional).

*Club cost can be paid in full or split into 5 equal monthly payments with the first payment starting the first week of December. These prices are subject to change each season.

How do tryouts work?

• 15U-18U Tryouts are held in summer and fall each year. 
• 12U-14U tryouts are held only in the fall.
• You must register for tryouts and have at least your KRVA tryout membership (directions for this are on the registration page).
• You must attend at least 1 day of tryouts (if you have a conflict and can’t attend at all reach out to the club director to see if there is another way you can be evaluated.
• The Wednesday after tryouts is the first day we can start sending offers and offers must be accepted within 96 hours of receiving the offer. If the offer is not accepted an offer can be extended to the next player on the list waiting to receive an offer.
• Once an offer is accepted it is binding and you may not attend any other club’s tryouts or open gyms.

What is a loyalty offer?

• Loyalty offers can be given to players that played on our teams last season and we would like to offer them a spot on our team for next season prior to tryouts. There is a specific window where we are allowed to send loyalty offers and once you receive them you have 48 hours to accept or decline the offer. If we don’t hear back in 48 hours the offer is void and your daughter will need to attend tryouts if they would like an opportunity to receive another offer and play on our team next season (These are not our rules, these are the USAV/KRVA requirements). 
• This is a binding offer and you will be asked to make a deposit after accepting this offer to hold your spot on the team.
• If you accept a loyalty offer you may not tryout for any other club.
