Since 2003, Kim Schlonecker has been a part of the Push The Rock family. She joined us straight out of college and has been making a difference ever since. She started part-time in order to raise support and joined us full-time in 2005. Kim in integral to our registration for events and camps for each district, keeping our database up-to-date, and is the administrative backbone for every district.
Kim played basketball, soccer, and softball as she grew up and was known as passionate about sports. She played recreational sports in college and helped out with the Messiah College women’s basketball team. She has served on 3 short-term teams to the Canary Islands playing basketball with Push The Rock’s team and helping lead camps.
She grew up in a missionary family serving in Venezuela. She was surrounded by people who loved Jesus and desired to teach others about Him. When she was 7, she realized her need for a Savior and asked Jesus into her heart. Her life became more about living for Him instead of living for herself. Today her desire is to see others come to know Him as their personal Savior and to deepen her relationship with Him.

At age 17, I learned that I could be competitive, work hard AND demonstrate Christ on the court all at the same time. I also learned the importance of respecting the refs in the heat of the game.
