Paul joined the Push The Rock staff in 2016. He currently oversees the sports programs in Italy, plays and coaches with the Favaro Basketball Club in Venice and plans and leads Push The Rock short-term teams in Italy. Before starting at Push The Rock, Paul spent time as a corporate recruiter for Liberty University, as an intern at the Pentagon and as an individual consultant for a private practice. He has also been a part of 5 Push The Rock short-term trips to Italy!

Paul played basketball in High School and became an Intramural Basketball Champion during his time at Liberty University.

He grew up in a Christian home, but it wasn’t until 8th grade that the Lord used his mother to help him understand what it means to follow Christ.

The best lesson I learned about sportsmanship was…

I learned about teamwork when I was cut from my 8th grade team. The coaches said I would have made the team on skill alone but it was my selfish and “Me-first” attitude. I quickly learned about teamwork after that.

My favorite Push The Rock story of a life God changed is…

My favorite PTR story is comes from a young teen named Giacomo, who has been attending a PTR camp since 2012. Giacomo never really pay attention to the testimonies or bible stories. After his 3rd camp, Giacomo was touched by a couple of the coaches stories that he later went home and reflected on verses shared. The following year, Giacomo announced that he made a decision to follow Christ and was doing a bible study with one of the missionaries. This past trip, Giacomo shared his testimony in front of the other campers.
