Carl Campbell

Carl joined the PTR board in August 2021. He recently retired after a long ministry career with Wycliffe Bible Translators, where he last served as the manager of the Staff Care Department in Papua, New Guinea. Carl enjoys playing basketball and other sports, having played football, basketball, and track & field in high school as well as soccer, basketball, and baseball in college. He still plays basketball and has even coached the girls’ basketball team for the Ukarumpa International School.

Carl accepted Christ at an early age and was ordained as a Pastor before becoming a missionary. He and his wife, Pam, have two married sons (Ben Campbell serves with PTR), a son who is single, and four grandchildren.

Carl holds a BS in Behavioral Sciences from Messiah University and an MA in Social Sciences from Azuza University.
