As a Push The Rock intern during a semester or a summer, you will be a trusted member of our staff. Our U.S. and international internship experiences are designed to fit your educational and career objectives, and your school’s requirements. We’ll collaborate closely with you to customize an internship experience that meets your objectives and provides opportunities to impact young people for Christ!
If you can invest more time with us, we also can provide you with a life-changing Gap Year experience. Push The Rock’s Gap Year program is truly an adventure in sports ministry. Gap Year participants can serve in one or more of our international offices as well as spend time serving in our U.S. headquarters. You’ll learn so much about sports ministry, develop new skills, and share the Good News to many people around the world. And, you’ll have a lot of fun doing it!
Your experience as a Push The Rock intern or Gap Year participant will help you discover who you are in Christ, how God has gifted you, and to listen carefully to how God is calling you forward in life, education, career, and ministry.
When you’re ready to get in the game, complete the application. If you have questions, please connect with Ben Campbell at bcampbell@pushtherock.org.
All interns must be in complete agreement with the mission and values of Push The Rock.
Testimonies
"I have grown up playing sports my whole life and my relationship with Christ is the anchor of who I am. Push The Rock embodies both of these aspects and I fell in love with the organization and all that it stands for. As an intern, I was able to coach camps all throughout the summer as well as work in the office after the morning camps. Going into the summer, I wondered what it would look like to work in an office setting, but after my first day in the office, I knew that I was in the right place because the staff allowed me to use my gifts to help the ministry whether that was making flyers, coming up with fundraiser ideas, or reworking the website. The staff and my boss were incredible to work with. Though some days were long, their hearts and attitudes showed Christ’s love as we spurred each other on and lifted each other up. I will forever be grateful for the amazing experience that I had interning at Push The Rock!" Â

BuxMont Camps Intern – 2019 Summer
"This past summer I had the opportunity to work as the administrative intern for Push The Rock BuxMont. I worked in the office and took care of getting everything ready for each camp week, but I also had the opportunity to go out to a few camps and help coach. The opportunities I had to coach were very special, because I was able to interact with the campers and make an impact on their lives. Each day we had the opportunity to teach the campers a Bible story which was really special. We were able to pour the love of Jesus into the campers lives and give them a better understanding of the Bible. Each camp week was different, but they each brought memories that will last forever."

BuxMont Administrative Intern – 2019 Summer
"There have been more highlights during my gap year with Push The Rock than I can even count. In Zambia, one standout moment one was at one of our tournament games with our 10u boys. I was the referee in the game and one of the players made a big mistake. He was really down, but then one of the other boys on our team sprinted over and put his arm around him and started encouraging him! It was such a cool moment to watch and to know the kids listen, considering we had talked about Proverbs 27:17 that morning!"
