John joined the board in 2022 and serves on the finance committee. John is a CPA by profession with a focus on tax and audit. John holds a Bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University, a Master’s degree in Finance from Babson College, and a Master’s degree in Taxation from Seton Hall University.

Athletically, John is a former active-duty Marine and is a two-time Marine Corps marathon finisher. Over the years, John has continued to participate in a number of athletic activities such as group runs, trail running events and strength training.

John is married and has been blessed with two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys vacations at OBX and spending time with family.
