Lori Herson

Lori was blessed to grow up in a loving home with parents who served full-time in missions and modeled before her a real relationship with Jesus. Her love for sports led her to major in Physical Education at Houghton College in New York where she also played field hockey and basketball. She served for 15 years at Delaware County Christian school as a teacher, coach, and then in athletic administration. While at Houghton and DCCS, Lori participated in and led several mission trips using sports as a platform for ministry.

Lori and her husband Mark, also an “MK”, have been married for 23 years; together they homeschool their daughter Elle, who is in high school. Although Lori’s “comfort zone” is in the world of sports and athletics, she has enjoyed the unique experience of being a backstage mom to a daughter with a passion for singing, acting, and dancing.

Currently, Lori is the Director of Family and Children’s Ministries at Goshen Baptist Church in West Chester, PA. Lori serves on the board at the preschool at Goshen and became a member of the board at Push The Rock in February, 2023.
