Sibley Castle Camp

Stronghold Overnight Camp is for youth ages 10-17. It will take place at Sibley Castle, a mansion retreat center in Franklin, PA. At Stronghold we teach youth an exciting sport where they battle using a variety of foam medieval gear such as swords, shields, and spears. Our game play encourages honorable conduct, teamwork, and perseverance. We will also be learning about God and what it means to follow Christ.

Stronghold Overnight Camp is unlike any other experience.

You are immersed in a community of fellow warriors, striving as one to honor Christ as you dive deeper into the study of His Word. You work with your team to complete challenges on an Imagination Adventure, and hone your skills on the battlefield through the guidance and instruction of excellent teachers.

Stronghold Overnight Camp also offers all the parts of a traditional camp experience like singing, campfires, and devotions to create memories that will last a lifetime.

CAMP DETAILS

Stronghold Overnight camp at Sibley Castle will be from Sunday June 23rd 5:00 pm to Friday June 28th 5:00 pm. This camp is designed for beginner to intermediate skilled fighters. It is for both boys and girls. We have skilled counselors who are passionate about teaching how to grow in skill in this sport, but also discipling teens in following Christ.

We will be staying in a stone mansion, nicknamed Sibley Castle, with beautiful archways and epic towers. It has divided sections for the boys and girls to sleep in separate parts of the castle.

Parents and Guardians will be emailed a medical information worksheet that must be completed before the child arrives at camp.

Parents and Guardians will be emailed a list of camp items to bring and–not to bring–to camp.

In the middle of the day campers attend a crafting class where they get to make their own foam sword (or gear of their choice) to take home with them at the end of the week. We recommend that first-time builders choose a blue sword/bat since this is the foundational gear to learning this sport.
